* According to D Kandol (1884) Bengal gram origin place in India.

* The most of the world is the production of 80% in India.   
*In the Bengal Gram leaf, the sour is due to malic or oxalic acid.

*In the Bengal gram, 55-150 beans found each plant.

* The  Bengal gram is cold weather crop while the high temperature is required for the germination.

* In the fields of a plane, the sowing of the Bengal gram is more productive than doing in the second week of October or third week.

* 70-80kg/hectare seed is used for early or timely sowing and 90-100 kg seeds/hectares on late sowing.

* India's average crop intensity is 135-136%.

* The first irrigation in the Bengal gram after 30 days of the sowing, the second irrigation 55-60 days after flowering time.

* If there is one irrigation available in the Bengal gram, it Should be at the time when the flowering.

* Nipping -breaking to top leaves of 15-20cm in Bengal gram is called Nipping.

    Note- (i) Ajay - More than 2 or 3 grains per fruit;  The rash is resistant to medium to thick yellow color, pickle, blight virus and caller rot. The average yield is 140 to 150 days.     (ii) K 5-- Crop straight one to 70 days, seed green, round taleto plate spreading 12-15 quintal per hectare.                                                                                                                     

    The disease of gram--

    This disease seems to be a fungus called Uromyces Fabae. It should increase it to prevent disease. Sprinkle 2.5 kg Dythne M-45 or Dythen Z-78 to 1000 liters of water/hectare at the rate of dynamic water.                                                                                               
    2-- Wilt-- This disease seems to be a fungus called fusiary oxycosphere. Resistant species- GO O 14, CO235, Pusa 209, and GO2                                                             
    3-- Blight--This disease seems to be fungalized. it is a sedimentary disease. Resistant species-C-2, G. O543, PG.114, PBG-1, L-550.   
    Cutworm insect of the gram. Caterpillars of this insect very harmful. Caterpillars cut the grain of beans. For the prevention of fruit piercing, for control spraying 0.25% carborile.                                                                                                                                       
    2.Pod borer of a gram-- For this, use Indosalphon 35 EC 1.25 Litre or qunolfus 25 EC 1.25 or monocrotophos 36EC
